Your Vote is Your Voice

Your vote is your voice. To make your voice heard, you must first be registered to vote.

Register to Vote on Election Day

In Wisconsin, you can register to vote on Election Day at your polling place:

• If you have lived at your current address at least 10 days before the election.

• Bring one form of proof of residence with your full name and current address, such:

-- driver's license, telephone or utility bill, bank statement, or paycheck.
-- university, college or technical institute ID or fee card that contains your photograph, even if the card does not have your address, if the school provides a certified list of students for use at the polling place.

New Federal Requirement: All new registrants will be required to give their Wisconsin driver's license number, or if they don't have a WI driver's license, the last 4 digits of their social security number or Wisconsin ID Card number when registering to vote.
