| | Planned Parenthood is looking for talented, energetic, committed, creative leaders to help run issue campaigns and Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts.
It's all about being a massive power in 2008 – in the Legislature and at the voting booth. Let's make our voices heard and our votes count!
Volunteer Leaders:
To protect women's health and reproductive rights, we are going to need hundreds of volunteers to help make thousands of phone calls. To reach these goals, we need help from a few dedicated volunteers to take a leadership role with Planned Parenthood.
We are recruiting a dedicated and small group of volunteers to serve throughout 2008 as Volunteer Leaders. Now is your chance to take an active role in Planned Parenthood and the issues important to all of us! Your work as a Volunteer Leader will prove invaluable to the women, men and families who need access to quality healthcare and in the overall struggle for reproductive freedom.
Become a Volunteer Leader:

 | Volunteer Stories | | Here's what some past Volunteer Leaders have said about volunteering at Planned Parenthood:
"When I was in college I learnt about all of [the] freedoms we take for granted and how we got them from progressive people who weren't afraid to stand up for their convictions. Then several years ago, I started seeing signs that many of those freedoms were being whittled away.... So I decided that even though I'm just one regular person, I want to be able to tell that… I did something constructive." –Diane, 2006 Volunteer Leader
"Reproductive justice is important for me personally. The reason I volunteer with Planned Parenthood isn’t all about me, though. Every signature I collect and every phone call I make to a Wisconsin voter helps to ensure reproductive freedom and healthcare choices for all Wisconsin women and families. As a woman and as a citizen my health and the health and well being of my fellow Wisconsinites is critical to the overall economic, social, and political welfare of our state and our country." -Jeannine, 2006 Volunteer Leader
"I kept getting emails calling for volunteers [from Planned Parenthood]. Reading them, I thought, maybe someday, and then I'd Google away the afternoon. But last summer, I started to feel like…I should be doing more than hanging out and going to work…. So I responded to one of the emails. Sure enough, it paid off. Now I know that I'm contributing to something positive." -Jeff, 2006 Volunteer Leader |
