Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin will help bring one million voters to the polls this November, and it all begins with you.

Armchair Activism
Commitment: 5-30 minutes/week
1. Join the Planned Parenthood Action Network
2. Recruit 5 Friends for Choice to join as well
3. Write a letter to the editor
4. Make a donation to PPAWI to support our advocacy activities
5. Call in to talk radio shows to voice your support on choice topics
Legislative Work
Commitment: 1–5 hours/month
1. Contact your legislators
2. Alert friends about current legislation affecting reproductive health
3. Attend a legislative hearing at the Capitol
4. Speak out by telling your story
Electoral Engagement
Commitment: 5-30 minutes/election
1. Register to Vote
2. Get Voting & Election Day Information
3. Find out who are the pro-choice candidates
4. Ask the candidates important questions
Campus Activism
Commitment: 4–6 hours/month
Join or start a Planned Parenthood student group on your campus and help educate college students about threats to reproductive freedom and get them involved.
Pro-Choice Action Council
Commitment: 4–6 hours/month
Be a voice for choice in your community
1. Regular meetings and emailed urgent updates
2. Contact your legislators and then alert friends
3. Write letters to the editor of your local newspaper
4. Attend and testify at legislative hearings
5. Stay informed about reproductive health and freedom issues
6. Serve as community ambassador for Planned Parenthood and choice issues
7. Current communities: Chippewa Valley, Green Bay, La Crosse, Oshkosh, and Sheboygan.
Rapid Response Team
Commitment: 2–4 hours/month
Be a voice for choice for urgent actions
1. Contact your legislators and then alert friends
2. Write letters to the editor of your local newspaper
3. Distribute flyers, advocacy materials or petitions in your community
Specialty Groups and Coalitions
Commitment: 2–4 hours/month
