Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin is excited to embark on a new legislative session in which women's health advocates have made huge gains in both the State Senate and State Assembly.
PPAWI will be pursuing a strong pro-active prevention agenda during the 2007-08 Legislative Session including:
Increasing access to cervical cancer screening and treatment
Maintaining and expanding the Healthy Women Program
Increasing access to birth control, including emergency contraception, without harassment or delay
15 pro-choice legislators (all Democrats)
39 pro-choice legislators (all Democrats)
