Some elected officials want to make it legal for pharmacists to deny women their birth control (AB 207, AB 343 & AB 285) Thankfully, Racine-area Representative John Lehman opposes these bills. IT'S AN INTRUSION on the doctor-patient relationship. When a woman and her doctor decide that birth control is right for her, it is wrong for politicians to intrude. IT'S DANGEROUS - women need and deserve timely access to birth control to prevent unintended pregnancy and to preserve and enhance their health. IT'S DISCRIMINATION against women. |
