One Million Strong

Madison Internship

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin is the advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, the state's largest and most trusted reproductive health care organization.  PPAWI educates and lobbies on behalf of reproductive rights and family planning and engages in electoral activities to support candidates for elected office that will promote access to reproductive health care, responsible sex education and freedom of choice.

One Million Strong Campaign:

For years to come, 2008 will stand out as a watershed year in our country--a time of sweeping change, grassroots mobilization, and citizen empowerment.  Planned Parenthood has an important role to play and a tremendous amount at stake.  The One Million Strong Campaign is a national effort to identify, energize, and mobilize one million voters in the 2008 election to make women's health a priority; to pass laws and policies that protect reproductive health and rights; and to keep Planned Parenthood's doors open to the women, men and teens who need information and health care.
