Wisconsin Voters Vote for Women's Health
PPAWI Congratulates Endorsed Candidates

Madison, WI – Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI) congratulates all of the pro-women's health candidates who won in Tuesday’s Wisconsin Primary Election.  Out of the 8 PPAWI endorsed candidates with primaries, all 8 claimed victory this week!

Barbara Toles, Assembly District 17 (Milwaukee)

Christine Sinicki, Assembly District 20 (Milwaukee)

Judy Reas, Assembly District 87 (Park Falls)

"This week, Wisconsin voters spoke up loud and clear, women's health does matter," said Chris Taylor, Public Policy Director for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI). "They voted to support those candidates who have demonstrated their commitment to the progressive health care standards and values that are core to PPAWI's mission."

PPAWI's extensive voter mobilization effort aimed at turning out the vote for pro-choice candidates continues and will lead up to the general election on November 4. By Election Day, PPAWI will have made almost 500,000 voter contacts through the use of mail, phone, door-to-door canvasses and e-advocacy.
