Your senators are trying to deny women the right to comprehensive, honest, accessible health care so they can make informed and responsible decisions regarding their health and the health of their family. Birth control is basic health care used by 95% of women during their lifetimes.
Birth control is the best way to prevent unintended pregnancies and reduce the need for abortion. Comprehensive sex education prevents both teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Most Wisconsin emergency rooms do not provide rape victims with emergency contraception to prevent pregnancy after an assault. |
