Phone Banks

Choose Madison, Milwaukee, or Statewide and then 'Phone Bank' to find current volunteer opportunities! Join us while we make phone calls to constituents in key districts and let's protect reproductive health and rights!

2010 = New & Improved Ways to Volunteer with PP!

We are so excited about our new plans to revamp and ramp-up the fun with our volunteer program!

Wall-O'-Fame!
Starting with our first phone bank on January 25th (please click Milwaukee or Madison for details!) we will begin our 2010 Volunteer Wall-O'-Fame! We'll be taking everyone's photo and placing it on the bulletin board in our offices. That way all of our staff and other fabulous volunteers can see who you all are. Then each time you volunteer in 2010, we'll put a sticker on your photo. You'll also get prizes from our vault of goodies based on the number of times you volunteer this year (3, 6, 10 times)!

Themes, Games & Prizes!
We will be adding some more fun to our phone banks this year - with themes, games, and prizes! Curious as to what that all entails? Sign-up to volunteer and come find out! Let's just say it involves noisemakers, mardi gras beads, phone bank Bingo...and maybe a pirate and casino night too.

Featured Activist!
And finally, we will be adding a new seasonal "Featured Activist" section to our website! During each season, we'll feature a volunteer. They'll get to tell their story on why they volunteer with Planned Parenthood. Our featured activists will also get a special thank-you gift from us.

Volunteering with Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood began as an all-volunteer organization more than 90 years ago, and thanks to the hard work and countless hours that our volunteers provide, we are able to continue to ensure that family planning and other vital reproductive health care and information are available in communities across the state.

From high school students to senior citizens, Planned Parenthood volunteers are incredibly dedicated to the mission of keeping women, men, and teens healthy and safe. Five million people worldwide rely on Planned Parenthood for reproductive health care, education, and information each year, and every day our volunteers play a role in providing and protecting those services.

PPAWI volunteers serve in a wide range of capacities, including on the phone, at the Capitol, on campus, online, and in the community to voice their support and advocate for reproductive health and rights.
